The term spirituality means different things to different people, depending on their background. But essentially, spirituality has to do with those things in our experience that touch the intangible in us-the spirit or soul, not the physical aspect of our lives. According to Wikipedia, spirituality is belief in an ultimate or an alleged immaterial reality; an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of his/her being; or the “deepest values and meanings by which people live.”
Our society promotes many types of spirituality, ranging from a simple, humanistic focus on the mind or soul and the non-material things in our lives, to belief in magic and demons and engaging in various sorts of spiritual activities.
