Some people say that truth is relative, that it’s true in some situations and for some people but not in all situations for all people. Others say that there is such a thing as absolute truth-something that is true in all situations and for all people. Gravity, for example, would be something that is an absolute truth. Truth in the Bible also tends to be absolute truth-they are universally true.
When it comes to faith-or religion, or Christianity-truth can also mean a body of knowledge or information (truths) that describes the faith or religion it represents. So when we speak of truth in a biblical or Christian context, we are often talking about things that reflect reality about God, the universe, humanity, and the teachings of the Bible. You may hear it spoken of as biblical truth.
